“Canvas is a sophisticated and easy-to-use graphics
program that is good for creating and editing technical drawings with both vector and/or
bitmap graphics. Canvas imports and exports a variety of graphics formats including EPS,
WMF, TIFF, PCX, etc. Version 5.0 imports EPS files and makes them editable.”
“This is a general purpose drawing program that is very
flexible. The curve drawing utility is a little annoying, but otherwise it offers a way to
do any illustration that I have dreamed up so far. An important feature is the inclusion
of "managers" that allow me to customize the appearance of arrowheads, dashes,
fill patterns, etc. I embed Canvas drawings (including any CoPlot curves) by copy and
paste operations with the Windows clipboard.”
